*To Keep up-to-date on all my sewing activities visit the updates page. Or you can find me on Live Journal, where I typically update more often.
I've always been fascinated by the people who came before us, and especially by what they wore. (If you found my rather paltry go at a web page, you must be too.) So, naturally, after learning to sew a few years back, I was bitten by the costume bug. This is one bite I don't regret getting!
Here you will find my adventures into the costuming world.
My interests are diverse, so I don't stick to one particular era. Nor do I always go in for 100% historical accuracy. This is my hobby, it's supposed to be fun, so I do what I like and what I think looks good!
At the moment I have several obsessions including, Regency England, the Romantic era, and Victorian England. I hope to explore these areas further and add my research to these pages.
As well as making costumes for myself, I make them for my little princess, (here after referred to as the L.P.), so you're just as likely to find an 1800's reproduction as a 'Bethanesque (is that a word?) vampire!
